Garden Madonna
Small print (12" x 18" image) - unframed
This is a combination of the Virgin of Guadalupe and the 20,000 to 18,000 BCE Venus figure from the cave at Laussel, France. The "Garden Madonna" is a study of the sacred feminine. Rather than an equating of the Virgin Mary with the Venus figure, the juxtaposition of the figures is meant to show that people have recognized the feminine in God and the creative process for eons. Then, there is your own interpretation.
This is an Edition of 300.
