King Arthur's Cross

1 1/2" x 3/4" - 38 x 19 mm

This cross is based on a lead cross that was exumed in the 19th Century at Glastonbury, England.  The cross is believed to date from the 8th Century. The inscription on the cross in Latin is: "HIC JACET SEPULTUS INCLYTUS REX ARTHURUS IN INSULA AVALONIA" - Here lies buried the famour (or renowned) King Arthur on the Isle of Avalon.
